A Wonderful Gift!

Hello Crafters!  After being away on vacation for a week, you can imagine how much mail had accumulated in my post box!  The box was stuffed full with mostly bills and junk mail, but then I came across a little green package with a return address in Georgia.  It was from my July ATC Swap partner, Wendy!  I opened it to find this lovely gift.  Wendy made this gift for me in order to thank me for hosting Rewind Week 1970s!  Thank you, Wendy!  I love it!  As a sidenote, my August Blissfull ATC Swap partner is Anna.  Her blog is called Frosted Petunias!  Isn't that a great name!

Speaking  of Rewind Week, it begins in one week!  I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to post all the projects!  I've received several participants' projects and have gotten a sneak peak at them.  They are all terrific!  Reminder to those participants who have yet to send in their projects:  I will need them by Sunday..at the latest.  This project has been super fun and I am already thrilled to think ahead to the next Rewind Weeks!  I'd love to go way back next...maybe the 1940s!  I'm thinking I will take a poll to decide what decade to do next.  What do you think?

I forgot to mention in my last post that Cortney, from Living and Loving in California, is also a Rewind Week 1970s participant.  I can't wait to see what she did for the project!  Again, she is hosting a giveaway for a beautiful necklace and earring set.  Check it out if you need some bling!

I'll leave you with a photo of my first ATC I sent to Wendy in case you missed it on her blog.  Again, the theme was "Sisters."  You can see all the participants' July cards at Blissfull ATC Swap.  They are all terrific and unique.  The theme this month is "Orange."  Just between you and me...I have no idea what I am going to do!  Any ideas?

Toodles for now!

Thanks for the shout out in your post, and I see you put me on your side bar, yippy! I am very excited to finish my rewind week project this weekend, I've had fun putting it together. Can't wait to see everyones project!

I vote for something early, like the 30's or 40's for the next one...I love that time period.

Thans Again!

Hello fellow Bloggerette Sister!! I have been without a computer for a few days. I was so thrilled to see your comment!!! Are you a fellow Missourian? If not, you must be close! You referred to my post about the Bingham-Waggoner Sale...ever been to it? I have not been to Good JuJu, but have heard great things about it!! I have a friend who has participated in it (well, the last time I talked to her, she was going to do that! :)

It was so great to visit you!!! dana
